Mary follows him into the store, where the shop owners are happy to let them use the washroom to get cleaned up. She washes her hands and dabs at the blood on her cuffs and her blouse. It only helps a little bit. Mary will probably have to get rid of this blouse. She sighs and exits the washroom.

The man is waiting in the shop when she returns. Mary appraises him with a smile - tall and lean but not a bad-looking man. "I suppose I ought to officially introduce myself - Lady Mary Crawley." She holds out her hand for him.
