Welcome to A Gentle Night! We're excited to have you here and can't wait to kick off our next event with an OOC plotting post on Tuesday the 19th. New characters will have officially arrived as of the event post.

Take this time to say hello and introduce yourselves to each other. Feel free to use the form below. Decide whether or not you want to keep your TDM threads canon with other characters who were accepted.

This month, you may receive influence for Hot Under the Collard Greens and Revenge, Served Stinky. For Terrible Two(hundred)s, you may earn reputation with either Loren or Grejor, depending on how you solved the problem. Remember, this is only applicable to canon TDM threads. Influence is contingent on how your character interacted with the prompt. Go to the Influence Page and follow the example if you wish to submit a thread for influence or reputation.

Hello yes hi once more I'm so sorry for being hyper but I am excited that we're in a game agaaaaain. Also I'm yelling at this - A single shred of self-respect would be nice. Poor Horatio. Maybe Zita can help out with that before they both can look for some self-respect and share it.

If you want, we can have the TDM thread be canon. I promise you that Daylight is going to do his best to be the most cheerful and upbeat presence when around Horatio!!

I hope poor Horatio is ready for the menace that is Daylight the Sunsung! He is going to be a giant robotic labrador retriever and nothing is going to stop him from trying to brighten up Horatio's day.

Also real talk he has one of those (not giant or robotic but still) in the TV movie version of himself and it goes really well so I'm hopeful this will turn out. :')

While I am happy that Horatio gets a dog because, from what I can tell in his canon, he deserves a dog and more - I'm worried about that italicised 'really well' there. Now I can only hope that Horatio and the dog truly do have a happy ending. :

It's. such. a. mixed bag.

Because in the book he doesn't have an Actual Friend until he's like 25 years old, which is not ideal, but. In the movies he meets his human puppy friend when he's 17 and it's gr9 except that the movies continuously. hurt. and. separate. them.

We will give Daylight and Horatio nicer things probably.
